Pretty damn cute. They were so slow and awkward when they were 1 day old, I was able to get some great shots. Now they are running around all over the place and I can't catch them with the camera as easily!
Snap Happy
A blog of photos from my daily adventures. I won't offer any cute quips on life, opinions, or guidance about anything... but I can at least entertain your eyes for a moment or two! I just take photos for fun! CLICK ON ANY PHOTO TO MAKE IT LARGER!!!

Buntings Are Back!
My favorite little blueish birds have returned! I hear and see them all over the place on my morning rides. By far, one of the flashiest little birds out there!

Morning Musings
I love my early morning bike rides. I am on the path by 6:10am now that it is light. Now, there are always days that I would LOVE to sleep in, (rainy days!) but most days I am so excited to get out there and see what's happening. I bike the same path every day, but it is never the same. So many cool migratory birds passing through right now. Deer are getting ready to have babies. Stuff is blooming. It's kind of my Zen moment before I jump into work mode. Just me, my thoughts, and Nature. Nothing better than that. I shot this eagle in the morning mist earlier this week, and it really turned out better than I thought. Kind of peaceful and still....

The Birds Are Back!
As a bird nerd, I am very excited that my feathered friends are returning. So many new songs out there, and there are a lot that I can't identify. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of hiking off the beaten path to investigate a bird chirping (Phoebe!) and ended up covered in ticks. Sooooo..... my adventures need to stay on the main drag for now..which sucks, because a lot of the elusive birds stay deep in the woods. BUT- I hate ticks, so I will just have to make due. Or purchase mass quantities of Deep Woods OFF!

Asha Posha Piddle Pants
OK, that was Asha's nickname...Asha Posha Piddle Pants. Only because when she had to potty, she let you know.... and you had approximately 2 minutes to let her out, or it was going to be a little puddle... on the couch, on the bed...wherever. We think her bladder may have been damaged at some point (tossed from a moving car...perhaps?) But it was OK. It was who she was and managed it really well.
So, Asha's tribute week has come to an end, and I will finish by posting some other fun photos of her.
Gone, but NEVER forgotten. Rest in peace, sweet Asha Posha!
