I know... I haven't posted anything since this past summer. I just got busy and forgetful. Fall is now here and the leaves are gone and I am enjoying hiking in the woods without the fear of ticks and other nasty critters. Here are a couple of creatures I've been seeing on my hikes.
My photo blog with the occasional commentary! You can click the photos to view them larger.

The Little Blue Dogs
Neelah (right) was the original little blue dog. Pixel is doing a good job filling the role of cute little blue dog, also!

Nature's Artwork
We have been getting tons of storms lately. (Sadly, Pilger, NE and some other Nebraska towns were hit with deadly tornadoes). Before and after, the clouds have been amazing.

A Bunch of Blues
Foster pup Zoey (the one-eyed pup!), Charlie (another rescue) and Pixel...all having a great time in the backyard! I am happy to say Charlie is in his new home in MN, and we have some very interested folks in Zoey. Hooray!

Sax Zim Bog
Amazing weekend spent around the Duluth, MN birding. Spent an entire day in Sax-Zim Bog and saw some amazing birds. (and a porcupine!) Much warmer than last year, and I am thankful for that. Thanks to Erik and Naturally Avian for an amazing time! I highly recommend a trip there in the winter to see the amazing birds that hang out there.

Frosty Morning in Minnesota
A gorgeous, surreal morning driving around Northern MN. Gentle snow falling and frost on the branches made for some awesome photos. These actually don't do these scenery justice - it was so amazing to be there at that moment.
