Last day in Montana, we visited the Montana Grizzly Encounter. It is a bear sanctuary where bears can live out their lives. All the bears were rescued from bad situations -circuses, or abandoned by their mothers in the wild. A bear cub has to stay with its Mom for the first 5 years before it knows how to fend/hunt for itself. So, some of the bears lost their moms and needed to be rescued. It was so cool watching them frolic and play, and they had a great area to run and play in. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot.
