I've found that walking around and taking pictures, often times, Nature is not going to jump out at you and say.... HERE I AM!!! TAKE MY PICTURE!!! You have to explore, look for the little things, and really enjoy the adventure of looking for hidden treasures. It makes one appreciate all that life has to offer, because there is so much out there that most people just pass on by, oblivious. I was so lucky to see this White-Lined Sphinx Moth out hiking in the blazing heat yesterday - it was so cool. I watched it feed on thistle for about 10 minutes. A real treat for this Nature girl!
I was amazed to learn today that many of these moths come from the tomato horn worm. Beautiful capture.
